President Trump and billionaire Elon Musk sat side by side at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on Sunday.

In an encouraging moment of unity, Musk appeared to set aside his past grievances as the two men shared a smile during this tragic occasion.

Having helped turbocharge Trump’s presidential campaign with both financial and political support, Musk turned on Trump over the passing of the “Big, Beautiful Bill.”

Despite the bill’s provisions for immigration enforcement and other conservative priorities, Musk was livid at its failure to meaningfully reduce America’s ballooning national debt.

Musk’s fury was so intense that he went on a protracted rant on X where he accused Trump of having close ties to pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein and threatened to start his own political party.

During an interview with The Gateway Pundit last month, Vice President J.D. Vance expressed his hope that Musk would reconcile with the White House and the wider MAGA movement.

“He’s obviously got a complicated relationship right now with the Trump White House,” Vance said.

“My argument to Elon is like, you’re not going to be on the left, right? Even if you wanted to be. And he doesn’t.”

“They’re not going to have you back. That ship has sailed. And so I really think it’s a mistake for him to try to break from the president.”

“So my hope is that by the time of the midterms, he’s kind of come back into the fold.”

“If you’re patriotic, you’re not trying to stick your knife in the back of the president, you’re not trying to betray the movement, I don’t care about these minor little disagreements and issues.”
