BTS’s Jin scores his first No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Physical Singles chart with “Don’t Say You … More
BTS star Jin returns to the charts in the United Kingdom this week with his second solo era. The singer recently released his sophomore EP Echo, and the project earns him his first hit on the main albums ranking in the country. The set’s lead single, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” has also proved to be a strong seller, bringing the South Korean superstar to a peak he’s never seen before.
“Don’t Say You Love Me” Debuts at No. 1
“Don’t Say You Love Me” debuts at No. 1 on the Official Physical Singles chart. The cut earns Jin his first leader on the list of the bestselling tunes available on any format that fans can buy and physically hold.
The smash is just his second solo placement on the tally, following “Running Wild,” which arrived last November. That track spent just one frame at No. 6 before disappearing.
Jin Scores Multiple New No. 1s
Jin’s track also manages to conquer both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts as it arrives. However, it does not mark a new high point for him on those tallies. The musician, who is one of the seven members of BTS, has previously led the charge on both rankings with “I’ll Be There” and “Running Wild,” which dominated in November 2024.
He missed out on his first leader in November 2022 when “The Astronaut” stalled at No. 2. He’s also reached the top 10 with his solo cut “Super Tuna.”
“Don’t Say You Love Me” Reaches the Main Songs List
“Don’t Say You Love Me” brings Jin back to the main songs ranking in the U.K. as well. The single opens at No. 58, becoming his fifth solo placement, and landing right in the middle of all his releases in terms of peak position.
Echo is also a big win for Jin. The EP launches on four rankings across the Atlantic, becoming a top 10 hit on half of them and a strong seller on every list on which it appears.
