EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – OCTOBER 15: Breece Hall #20 of the New York Jets celebrates a … More
Getty ImagesAt one point, Breece Hall peaked as the RB1 on Keep Trade Cut (October 24th, 2022). Now that we’re a bit further out from that date, Hall has fallen down boards and is currently being valued as the RB8 in dynasty rankings.
It’s not bad by any means, but based on the expectations the community had previously set, if you’re a Hall owner, it’s rather disappointing. At this point, evaluating Hall in dynasty is a difficult decision.
Below, we’ll break down Hall’s dynasty outlook and where he should be ranked in these dynasty running back rankings.
Breece Hall Dynasty Outlook
It may come as a shock to people, but Hall has never finished with over 1,000 rushing yards in a season. He came close in 2023 (994) and his combined receiving total has crossed over the mark, but never from being a pure runner.
It’s not due to Hall’s lack of attempts, either. In 2023 and 2024, Hall had over 200 carries, giving him an opportunity to eclipse the mark. Each year of Hall’s career, he’s slowly been getting less efficient. Hall dropped from a 5.8 mark (seven games played) to 4.5 and then 4.2

Hall is always going to provide value because of what he can do through the air. In a PPR league, Hall gives you a ton of upside, as he caught 76 and 57 passes in the last two years.
That being said, Hall doesn’t necessarily have the rushing ability to allow him to return to that RB1 throne. At an RB8 price, though, that’s totally fine.
Hall is only 23 years old as well, making him a great buy for most dynasty teams. With his only competition (pre-NFL Draft) likely to be Braelon Allen, expect another 15 PPG season for Hall in 2024.
Dynasty RB Rankings: Steve Bradshaw
Prior to the NFL Draft, Hall is the RB4 in my dynasty running back rankings. One player who will jump Hall no matter what is Ashton Jeanty.
In a strong running back class, it’s possible that another rookie could jump Hall as well. When removing rookies from KTC rankings to create an even playing field, Hall bumps up to the RB6.
It’s not the biggest value win by any means, but now is a good time to buy Hall before he goes back into that untouchable range of players.
