Black Ops 6
Get ready for yet another Call Of Duty x TMNT crossover. This time, all four of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to Black Ops 6. The last time we got to play as Shredder. This time, we get Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and their master, Splinter, as well as Foot Clan soldiers. The turtles will be available as Bundles while the other operators can be earned in a special Event Pass.
Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded lands this Thursday. Here’s what to expect.
Season 2 Reloaded Start-Time
The exact start-time for Season 2 reloaded hasn’t been officially announced, but typically new seasonal updates go live around 9am PT / 12pm ET. I’ll update this post if an official start-time is announced.
Here’s the trailer:
New Maps
Two new maps are coming to Black Ops 6 on Thursday.
The first is Grind Ooze, a remaster of the classic Black Ops II map, Grind. The medium-sized map is a faithful rendition of the original, though it comes with some TNMT-themed additions:
Grind Ooze
The second map is a much smaller 2v2 / Strike map that will be available for Gunfight and Faceoff modes. Bullet takes place on a moving bullet train. Players will clash through train carriages as well as up on the roof of the the train where they can get a good look at the scenery passing by, or make a risky flank.

New Modes
TMNT Moshpit is the new limited-time mode coming to Black Ops 6, which let’s players unleash special Ninja Turtle powers in TDM, Hardpoint and Domination. These function as special scorestreaks:
General Abilities: For 30 seconds, gain increased health, fast health regen, increased movement speed and increased melee range. You’ll also get a flashing HUD indicator that shows where enemies are firing from. Being shot at will not slow movement speed. On top of this, you’ll gain the ability to perform Finishing Moves on enemies from any direction instead of just from behind, as well as Double Jump and Air Dash.
You can also unleash character-specific powers. These are random unless you’re using a specific TMNT operator. The powers are:
- Splinter: Vanish in smoke and teleport to a safe location behind enemy lines.
- Leonardo: Gain the Tracker, Ghost, Vigilance, and Cold-Blooded Perks to navigate the map in stealth.
- Donatello: See Operators through walls as well as Equipment, Field Upgrades, and Scorestreaks. Hack enemy Equipment and Field Upgrades.
- Michelangelo: Drops a Pizza Box for your team. Players who eat a slice will deal Double Damage for a short time. Replenishes ammo and Equipment.
- Raphael: Unlimited Shuriken.
New Guns, Perks And Wildcards
On top of the new maps and modes, players will be able to kit out their loadouts with new weapons and other goodies.
New Perk: Hunter’s Instinct
This Enforcer perk is interesting. When you kill an enemy, a narrow cone on the mini-map will indicate where the next closest enemy is, allowing you to hunt them down.
New Wildcard: Flyswatter
Flyswatter let’s players replaced their dedicated Melee weapon with a Launcher.
New Secondary Weapon: D1.3 Sector
This is a very unique secondary weapon that shoots saw blades. The remake of the Black Ops III gun can be shot while aiming down sights or from the hip. You can equip explosive or ricochet blades.
Skateboard Melee Weapon
Mostly, the new update brings a host of new Melee weapons to the game including the Skateboard, Bo Staff, double Katanas, Nunchaku, and Sai Blades, each with different range and speed. All of these are one-hit elimination weaopns except for the Nunchuka which are fast but require two hits to land a kill.
The game is also getting the Belt-Fed Attachment for LMGs that gives each gun an enormous amount of ammo but can also lead to overheating.
New TMNT Event Pass And Clover Craze Event
TMNT Event Pass
Beginning February 27th, a special TMNT event kicks off with a free and paid TMNT Event Pass. This is how players will earn the new Skateboard and D1.3 Sector weapons, Belt-Fed Attachment and Foot Soldier skins (via the free track) as well as a bunch of weapon blueprints and the Splinter skin (via the paid track).
Beginning March 13th and running until the end of Season 2, the Clover Craze event celebrates St. Patrick’s Day. During the event, enemies will drop clovers when they die. Collect these to spend on Event rewards including the Cloverleaf AMES AR Blueprint.
Everything Else
In Warzone, not much is changing. Activision has committed to working on game improvements over new content this season, tackling bugs and the ongoing problem with rampant cheating. The only significant update outside of the Clover Craze event is the addition of the Low Profile perk, which allows players to move faster while crouched and prone, remove death markers from players they eliminate and move faster while downed.
In Zombies, some new TMNT powers will be enabled:
- Turtle Power: Temporarily empowers the player with a health bonus and Pack-A-Punch 3 Legendary Melee Weapons
- Pizza Box: Fills the Cranked Timer to max
- Slice-O-Pie: Partial time added to the Cranked Timer
All players will also get Donny’s Time Stopper Field Upgrade. When activated, this pauses the Cranked timer for a full minute. Wearing TMNT skins will give you 50% damage reduction from behind (due to the shell) while Splinter gets an increased chance of finding Slice-O-Pie from eliminated enemies.
Zombies is also getting Directed Mode for The Tomb map.
Finally, two new Gift Packs will be available to celebrate Black History Month (Feb 20th) and Women’s History Month (March 10th). Each will include new Loading Screens, Emblmes and Calling Cards. Up to this point, all Black Ops 6 free gifts have been XP tokens.
Additionally, a new Call Of Duty: Recon Squad has been announced. Here’s how it’s described:
While playing Call of Duty, you may be invited to join the Call of Duty Recon Squad operated by Fuel Cycle. The Call of Duty Recon Squad is a Fuel Cycle research community that will be active throughout the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone Seasons. You’ll have opportunities to provide feedback through surveys, online community discussion boards, and potentially even invited to focus groups. And best of all, any feedback you provide will earn points in the Recon Squad that you can redeem for BO6 and/or Call of Duty: Warzone in-game items!
Season 2 Reloaded kicks off this Thursday. Stay frosty.
