Black community leaders in Cincinnati are furious over what they claim is a racial double standard in the aftermath of last month’s brawl in the city and want the white man involved to pay as well.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a group of black individuals smacked around a bald white guy at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Elm Street in downtown Cincy and beat him so bad that he could not get up.
Then, a white woman got slugged by one of the cowards. Her head slammed down onto the concrete, and she lost consciousness. Blood was seen coming out of her mouth.
Seven people have been arrested in the attack so far. One was out on bail from previous charges.
A video indeed appears to show the white man slapping one of the black individuals before the all-out assault. A racial slur can also be heard, though it’s not clear whether the white man or someone else uttered it.
Community leaders say this proves the white guy should be facing at least the exact charges as the other seven thugs who brutally beat him and a white woman. Many spoke out against this perceived ‘injustice’ during a discussion at New Prospect Baptist Church in the Cincy neighborhood of Roselawn on Monday.
“If the riot is because of a slap, who incited the riot?” asked Rev. Damon Lynch. “Why are the only people being charged are the ones who look like me?”

“Six individuals were charged with aggravated assault, which is a felony,” said Senior Pastor Tracie Hunter of Western Hills Brethren in Christ. “The white guy encouraged six other people to commit a felony.”
“The method by which this situation has been handled raises SERIOUS questions as to where there’s bias involved in the investigation,” Ohio State Rep. Cecil Thomas said. “It also brings into question a lack of integrity and whether there’s something else to hide.”

Assuming everything the leaders say is true, disproportionate force does exist. Under no circumstance does a slap and a racial comment justify someone getting beaten within an inch of their life.
Hopefully, the police ignore these agitators and continue to lay down the law on the mob.
