NEONAnora — which won five Oscars including Best Picture and Best Actress for Mikey Madison — is coming to streaming to Hulu this week.
Sean Baker took home four of Anora’s five Oscars. In addition to being one of the three producers honored for the film’s Best Picture win, Baker won Oscars for Best Directing, Best Original Screenplay and Best Editing.

Hulu previously announced that Anora will arrive on streaming video on demand on the platform on Monday, March 17. Hulu has a deal with Anora’s studio Neon to get the first SVOD window for all of Neon’s film titles.
Viewers who don’t have Hulu can subscribe to a basic package with ads for $9.99 per month or a standard package where programming is ad-free for $18.99 per month.
‘Anora’ Got Awards Season Momentum Three Weeks Before The Oscars
While director Sean Baker won the Palme d’Or for Anora in May at the Cannes International Film Festival, the film had a relatively long dry spell during awards season until early February.
Although the film was shut out at the Golden Globes, Anora was the surprise winner for Best Picture at the Critics Choice Awards on Feb. 7 and took Best Picture at the Producers Guild Awards on Feb. 8. On the same night, Baker was named Best Director for the film at the Directors Guild of America Awards.
Then on Feb. 16, Anora won a Best Actress trophy for Mikey Madison at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards, and was named Best Feature at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Feb. 22.
Anora was already a big winner with critics going into awards season. Rotten Tomatoes critics collectively gave the film a 93% “fresh” score based on 334 reviews, while audiences gave it an 85% “fresh” score on RT’s Popcornmeter based on 1,000-plus verified user ratings.
Per The Numbers, Anora to date has earned $19.2 million domestically and nearly $28.2 internationally for a worldwide box office tally of $47.4 million against a $6 million production budget.
According to Variety. Neon spent $18 million on Anora’s marketing, distribution and awards season campaign.
Anora makes its streaming video on demand debut on Hulu on Monday.
