Two people were rescued during separate operations on Saturday in Nepal after they were trapped for 10 days due to the recent flooding and landslides. Authorities said crews rescued a man from a hydropower tunnel after two others were brought to safety on Friday, the Associated Press (AP) reported. The man, who was pulled out of a 740-foot tunnel and evacuated via helicopter, said he shouted over and over when he saw lights crews were carrying as they performed the operation. A 22-year-old Albuquerque, New Mexico, man is under arrest after allegedly fatally shooting his cousin during an argument over who had the spiciest enchiladas. The incident occurred at Copper Hills apartments Friday night. KRQE reported that Ervin Gutierrez allegedly shot and killed 25-year-old Nathaniel Cavazos as they were drinking and arguing “over the heat of the green chile on enchiladas they were eating.” Gutierrez allegedly pulled a handgun and shot Cavazos “several times.” KCBD noted Cavazos died at the scene and Gutierrez faces a charge of first-degree murder. St Paul’s Cathedral in London has agreed to become a music venue for DJs in a four-year partnership with a controversial nightclub group, a move critics say shows disrespect for the holy Christian site and the historically significant figures buried in its crypt.
