In one case at the U.S. Open, a so-called influencer prompted a chair umpire to stop a match so security could make them turn off the disruptive, bright light ring they were using to record a video. A man accused defrauding the United States government of $600,000 in a food stamp benefit scheme was arrested in India on Friday. The suspect, identified as Manjit Singh Bedi, was taken into custody as part of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Most Wanted Fraudsters initiative, Fox News reported Saturday, noting FBI officials worked with authorities in India to make the arrest.
