The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, warned over the weekend that the world is at risk of a new nuclear arms race. Grossi is the current head of the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog and one of the five candidates vying to become the next U.N. Secretary General once António Guterres finishes his term at the end of 2026. Grossi spoke with The Telegraph on Sunday on the current state of nuclear weapons around the world, particularly those of Russia and the United States, as well as the interest in obtaining nuclear weapons expressed by other countries…

The Russian national water polo team has defeated Argentina at a competition in Malta A Russian national team has appeared at a major team sport event under the national flag and anthem for the first time since 2022. The federation, which oversees competitions in swimming, diving, high diving, artistic swimming, water polo, and open-water swimming, has been easing restrictions…
El Salvador held a mass trial on Tuesday for 486 prisoners, alleged to be members of the infamous Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang, who stand accused of 47,000 crimes between them. The trial was held at the Terrorism Confinement Center or CECOT, the tough “mega-prison” for gangsters that began operations in 2022. Photos of the proceedings showed rows of seated prisoners clad in simple white garb and face masks listening to the long list of charges against them. The office of El Salvador’s Attorney General said the allegations covered criminal activity from 2012 to 2022. Some of the latter-day offenses were…
The Warsh Confirmation Remains in Limbo Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) made it clear at the Kevin Warsh confirmation hearing Tuesday that he will not allow the nomination to move forward as long as the Justice Department’s investigation of the Fed’s renovation cost overruns is continuing. And on Wednesday, at a press conference ostensibly about busting an international auto theft ring, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro made it clear that the investigation will continue. “I am in the legal lane, there are others who are in the political lane. I don’t intersect those two lanes,” Pirro said. “I am going forward…and we…
Boy, the liberal white women out protesting ICE for the sin of doing its job sure do choose their allies well. When those allies are not assaulting women or swinging dildos around, we learn that they are convicted murderers arrested for threatening to execute ICE agents (who are just doing their jobs). Homeland Security arrested Daniel Barber on April 10 for an email he allegedly sent last year to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons laced with violent threats… “YOUR GESTAPO NAZI MAGGOT ICE AGENTS SHOULD BE TERRIFIED,” read the June 6 email. Barber’s tirade continued: EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM…
Rep. Tom Kean Jr. represents New Jersey’s most competitive district this November — but nobody, even his GOP colleagues, can say where he’s been for the past month. A scion of one of the state’s most storied political dynasties, Kean’s team says the two-term congressmember is facing unspecified health issues. The New Jersey Republican hasn’t voted since March 5 and has missed almost 50 roll call votes. The other two Republicans in the New Jersey delegation, Reps. Chris Smith and Jeff Van Drew, said they have called and texted Kean out of concern for his health. But so far, neither…
The defense tech behemoth has set the internet on fire with a tweet likened to the ‘ramblings of a comic book villain’ American surveillance tech contractor Palantir released a 22-point manifesto over the weekend, calling for a “new era” of AI-enabled US military supremacy. The internet went wild, with the text being labeled a blueprint for “technofascism.” Posted on X on Saturday, the document goes far beyond the typical mission statement of a Silicon Valley tech company. It outlines Palantir’s positions on the role of technology and military power in the 21st century, stating: “Silicon Valley has an affirmative obligation to…
Baylor University is being accused of attempting to “sabotage” tonight’s Turning Point USA event by denying ticket holders from the greater Waco community after initially approving non-student ticket holders, the organization says. The event, hosted by students with the school’s Turning Point USA chapter, will feature Border Czar Tom Homan, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, and conservative podcast host Benny Johnson, as part of the organization’s “This is the Turning Point Tour.” But despite initially approving non-student ticket holders from the broader community, Baylor University is now denying 4,500 people from attending the event in Waco Hall, a dome-roofed auditorium on campus, Turning Point USA…
HOUSTON, Texas — The Houston City Council, by a vote of 13-4, passed a new policy resolution that appears to resolve the dispute with the State of Texas over ICE cooperation. Shortly before today’s 2-hour debate and vote, Houston ICE officials announced officers arrested 277 criminal aliens in the Houston area during the past two weeks. Fox 26 Houston’s Greg Groogan posted on social media that the Houston City Council voted 14-3 to amend its previously passed “controversial sanctuary ordinance” to resolve the conflict with state law enforcement grant funding obligations. Groogan stated the vote allows Houston police officers to…
