The Republican National Committee (RNC) will give members of the public a chance to attend its September midterm convention in Dallas through a ticket lottery launching on Saturday, marking the first time a party convention has been opened to the American people in this way. A migrant from Ghana has been arrested at least three times in the last two weeks for raping and sexually assaulting women in Oklahoma. 26-year-old Jeff Kufi Asare, a foreign national from Ghana, has sexually assaulted four women this month. Five people were killed Friday in a string of shootings that took place Friday at two different residences and a wooded area in Missaukee County, Michigan. UpNorthLive reported that police received calls about a shooting at a residence around 11:40 a.m. Upon responding, officers found three deceased individuals and one person who was critically wounded. Police then discovered another deceased individual in another residence and a fifth dead victim “near a wooded area by Whitlock Lake.” The body of 39-year-old Chad Hickman was also found and police believe he was the shooter. President Donald Trump scored a big victory Friday after an Obama-appointed judge cleared the way for immigration officials to end temporary legal protections for thousands of Somali nationals living in the United States.
