U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks announced his resignation from the agency effective immediately. Banks’ abrupt departure is the latest of several high-ranking Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials to leave the agency in recent months. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a student at Freedom High School in Loudoun County, Virginia, who allegedly covertly recorded other students in a restroom on campus.
