California’s latest “victory” in progressive policymaking is now measurable in lost jobs. The state’s $20 fast-food minimum wage law has reportedly cost nearly 18,000 jobs, according to a study published by the National Bureau of Economic Research earlier this month. Researchers Jeffrey Clemens, Olivia Edwards, and Jonathan Meer found that fast food jobs in California dropped 3.2 percent after AB 1228 went into effect in April. “Our median estimate translates into a loss of 18,000 jobs in California’s fast-food sector relative to the counterfactual,” they wrote. So much for helping low-income workers. The law, passed in September 2023 and signed…
Last week, upon arrival in Scotland, Donald Trump warned the Europeans that if they do not stop mass immigration, it will be the end of them. “This immigration is killing Europe,” he said. When I met the American President in The Hague five weeks ago, he had told me the same. The President personally encouraged me to continue my fight for the safety and survival of the Dutch people. Donald Trump is putting America first and many Europeans do not like that, but at least he cares about ordinary Europeans, realizing how uncontrolled mass immigration is putting them in danger.…
The New York Times, a far-left propaganda outlet that spreads conspiracy theories and utilizes hoaxes and blood libels to spread hatred against Jews, is obviously Big Mad over Wednesday’s triumphant news about our second-quarter GDP growth. Outperforming the estimates of every so-called “expert,” America’s second quarter GDP grew by a robust three percent. “The three percent figure exceeds the Dow Jones estimate at 2.3 percent and reversed the 0.5 percent decline the first quarter of the year experienced,” reported Breitbart News. “Consumer spending rose by 1.4 percent in the second quarter and exports declined by 1.8 percent during the same…
Radio host Charlamagne tha God called out the “liberal media” over their glaring double standard on covering people allegedly associated with the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. “It’s just funny how the news works, because Bill Clinton wrote a letter to Jeffrey Epstein as well for his birthday, but nobody’s talking about that,” Charlamagne said during Tuesday’s episode of his syndicated radio show, The Breakfast Club. Watch Below: “And Jeffrey Epstein had a picture of Bill Clinton in a dress and high heels in his New York mansion, but nobody’s talking about that,” the radio host, who notably does not identify as conservative, continued.…
Brussels hopes to reduce the bloc’s reliance on US arms, while President Trump expects otherwise European NATO members’ armed forces are operating at just half the strength required by the bloc, the EU’s top defense official has warned, stressing the need to reduce dependence on US suppliers to drive down the costs of the military buildup.Just days after US President Donald Trump claimed the bloc had committed to purchasing a “vast amount” of American weaponry under a new trade deal, European Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius argued that the EU must “spend more on European products.”In an interview with Euractiv published on Tuesday,…
Cory Booker senate floor Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey recently had another meltdown on the floor of the senate, this time because he was angry at his fellow Democrats for not resisting Trump hard enough. No one was impressed. In fact, Booker is getting mocked over it by pretty much everyone in all corners of the political media landscape. The guys on 2Way called it hysteria. NEW: @danturrentine *UNLOADS* on Cory Booker for “absurd rant” “[It was] absolutely horrific [for the Democratic Party].” “I keep saying this: fight is not a strategy, right? That’s the problem with Booker.” “He…

The Federal Reserve voted Wednesday to keep interest rates unchanged, a decision which elicited two dissenting votes from the central bank’s board of governors for the first time in more than 30 years. At the press conference following Wednesday’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, Powell announced that the central bank will continue to target an interest rate between 4.25 and 4.5 percent, where it has remained since December. This comes despite President Donald Trump’s urging Powell to lower rates. However, two FOMC board members dissented from the majority’s decision to hold interest rates level. Fed Governor Christopher Waller and…
