Queen’s Greatest Hits climbs on multiple Billboard charts, while “We Will Rock You” and “Bohemian … [+]
Queen’s catalog is packed with some of the most beloved rock hits of all time. The group managed a successful run like few before them – or since – with big win after big win on the charts.
Many of Queen’s most popular tunes are remembered as classics to this day. Two of them appear on the Billboard charts in America this frame, though it seems that the way fans access the different tracks may say something about them.
“We Will Rock You” Returns to the Top 10
“We Will Rock You” is Queen’s highest-rising single at the moment in the U.S. The tune reenters the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8, becoming a top 10 win once more on that tally.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” Remains a Streaming Success
At the same time, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is a non-mover on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs ranking. Queen’s odd success can be found at No. 17 on Billboard’s list of the most-streamed hard rock tunes throughout the nation.

What is interesting about the group’s current placements is that no one track manages to appear on several rankings. Clearly, the group’s fanbase isn’t dedicated to only purchasing or only streaming , as the rockers succeed on both kinds of tallies with different cuts.
Queen’s Greatest Hits is Still Charting
Sales and streams of both of those tunes, as well as many others, continue to power Greatest Hits as well. That compilation appears on five of Billboard’s albums rankings, though its performance is a bit more mixed when compared to the songs featured on its tracklist this week.
Queen’s Greatest Hits rises on three of the five charts on which it appears. It dips only on the Top Album Sales tally, but just by one space. It barely manages to hold on, as it comes in absolute last place, at No. 50, on Billboard’s ranking of the bestselling full-lengths in the country.
Queen Almost Returns to No. 1
Impressively, Queen’s Greatest Hits almost takes control of the Top Hard Rock Albums chart once more. The full-length is steady at No. 2, held back only by The Best of Nickelback Volume 1, which earns its fifth stay in the penthouse on the hard rock-specific roster.
