The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Friday night at the intersection of Live Oak and East 39th St., resulting in the death of one adult man.
Around 11 p.m., officers responded to the scene based on ShotSpotter reports, according to a press release. They discovered an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound, who was provided with immediate medical assistance but succumbed to his injuries.
He was pronounced dead on the scene. No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is encouraged to call Crimestoppers, 912-234-2020.
