Meghan Markle has pushed back the premiere of her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, due to the Los Angeles wildfires. The lifestyle cooking show was slated to premiere on Wednesday, January 15.
“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” said Markle in a statement.
Meghan and Prince Harry were seen participating in volunteering efforts in the wake of the deadly fires, and have donated money to the relief efforts through their charity, the Archewell Foundation.
With Love, Meghan, which features the Duchess of Sussex cooking for a variety of friends including Mindy Kaling and her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, is now expected to drop on an undisclosed date in February. Per the logline, the Netflix series blends “practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.”
Eight episodes of With Love, Meghan were produced.
