On Friday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “Katie Pavlich Tonight,” former Trump Economic Adviser Stephen Moore stated that Iran has “become a quagmire, there’s no question about it.”
Host Katie Pavlich asked, “Quickly, though, Steve, … in June, you predicted gas would be $3.50 a gallon nationally. It’s August. Where are we with that prediction?”
Moore responded, “Well, look, the Iran situation has been so hard to figure out where we’re headed in that. If we had had that peace deal that we were all hoping for, we would have 3.50 to $3 a gallon gas. And it’s become a quagmire, there’s no question about it. Thank God, by the way, we have a president who’s doing drill, baby drill, because we’re the number one producer of oil and gas in the world today. So, Trump has the right energy policy.”
