‘He Lived It’: Charlie Kirk’s Final Book ‘Stop in the Name of God’ Released Today

Charlie Kirk’s final book, STOP, in the Name of God, is officially released today, months after the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University. His closest friends and family have been avidly promoting the release.

In a message posted to X, Donald Trump Jr. wrote, “A month before Charlie Kirk was taken from us, he finished his last book. Get your copy today at http://45books.com.”

According to the official description, STOP, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life “presents the Sabbath as a radical act of resistance” and offers “a pathway to genuine connection, peace, and presence.” It promises to help readers “unplug, recharge, and reconnect with God, family, and yourself in a way that nurtures your soul.”

According to TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet, the book reflects more than a year of Kirk’s dedicated work. “He meditated, prayed, and researched the topic with profound curiosity,” Kolvet wrote in a post on X. He described the project as “a true labor of love from CK” and said he believed it was Kirk’s “most life changing work.” Kolvet also shared an interview clip featuring Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, who spoke about the emotional weight of her husband’s posthumous publication.

“He did not just write this book. He lived it,” remarked Erika Kirk, now CEO of Turning Point USA, in a conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity. Reflecting on her husband’s connection to the book, she explained, “When you feel something so deeply and you’ve experienced it and you lived it, you want to be able to tell other people, ‘Look, this will change your life.’”

She described the message as “truth,” and noted how attuned those around him became to his spiritual rhythms during that time. “Our whole team knew on days where he didn’t get a full Sabbath and did, because he just was so locked in,” she stated. “And he just again, was the most incredible man. But this just took him to a whole new level. And it was in a way where you would look at him and be like, whatever you’re doing, I want to do.”

Erika emphasized the deeply personal nature of STOP, in the Name of God, describing it as a reflection of her husband’s lived experience and core beliefs. “This is his final message. This is what I’m trying to express to people,” she continued. “This is Charlie’s last book, so people can write books all about my husband and what he believed and what he said, and analyze his videos. These are his words, and when you read them, you feel him come to life. It’s powerful.”

Sean Hannity, who had read the book in its entirety, responded with emotion, calling the experience “Very powerful” and noting how deeply it resonated with him. But for Erika, the journey through the book remains unfinished. “I’ll be honest, I can’t read the last few pages. I’m not there yet,” she admitted. “It’s just emotionally because once this book is done it’s done.”
