As you may have noticed, Democrats and people in liberal media are in full-on freakout mode over the construction of the new ballroom at the White House. Their distress over it is almost beyond parody.
Ann Coulter was asked about this during an appearance on the Mark Simone radio show and she responded as only she can.
She offered a reminder about the behavior of the left over the last several years as they rioted and tore down statues and other American symbols.

MARK SIMONE, HOST: This White House demolition, it’s happened before a million times with other presidents. Why do these Democrats get themselves so outraged, they’re talking about desecration of the White House, from adding a ballroom?
ANN COULTER: No, also, I like Democrats pretending that they care about desecration. After years of them ripping down centuries-old American history, all of the monuments, anyone in American history who held a slave or did not denounce slavery, which would be everyone on the face of the earth, since slavery existed in every country, every place. And guess what?
It still exists today, Marc Simone, principally in sub-Sahara Africa. But no one will point that out. Perhaps we should cut off their funding.
But no, this is why, I mean, all the Black Lives Matter protests, the ripping down of history, the replacing portraits at universities, the science room, it has all their Nobel Prize winners. Nope, gotta take those portraits down because they’re all white males. So yeah, don’t, oh, the arson and mostly peaceful protests. Do not talk to me about desecration.

There is a very simple reason why the left is freaking out about the ballroom. It will be a permanent reminder of Trump’s presidency.
