Donald Trump, Middle Eastern Leaders Sign Peace Agreement in Historic Egypt Summit Flanked by World Leaders

President Donald Trump and about two dozen world leaders displayed robust unity at the Middle East Peace signing ceremony regarding the first phase of a historic peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Trump, along with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, signed the documents in Sharm el-Sheik hours after Trump gave a powerful speech to the Knesset in Tel Aviv.

World leaders, including Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and many more, looked on as the four leaders signed the documents.

“The people behind me are the greatest leaders, most powerful leaders, the richest leaders, frankly,” he said.  “Sometimes it’s not politically correct to say that, but I’ll say it.”

Trump stated that they are “people that really care for their countries and why this happened is they all came together and they wanted to get Gaza straightened out.”

“Everybody’s happy about it like I’ve never seen before, actually. I’ve done other deals, and people don’t care as much,” he went on to add. “Big deals, I think they’re big deals. But this is something that’s taken off like a rocket ship, and it did from the beginning.”

He emphasized that the prospect of a peace deal in the Middle East has long looked daunting, with many saying it could not materialize.

“It’s the biggest, most complicated deal,” he said.

Trump posed for photos with a myriad of world leaders ahead of the signing ceremony, and took the stage to give a speech shortly after it concluded.

Trump noted before the signing that documents had already been signed regarding the beginnings of the agreement between Israel and Hamas.
