President Trump’s longtime attorney Peter Ticktin, founder of The Ticktin Law Group, is currently en route — along with two key members of Tina Peters’ federal legal team — to meet with her inside the Colorado facility where she remains incarcerated.
Joining Ticktin for today’s jailhouse strategy session are:

The legal team is preparing final arguments ahead of a pivotal federal habeas corpus hearing set for Tuesday, July 22 at 2:00 PM Mountain / 4:00 PM Eastern, before Magistrate Judge Scott T. Varholak in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
⚖️ What’s at Stake in Tuesday’s Hearing
Tuesday’s hearing is not a motion for immediate release — not yet. Instead, the court will hear arguments on whether Tina Peters’ limited petition for a writ of habeas corpus will be allowed to proceed or be dismissed outright.
Attorney Peter Ticktin has characterized this as a fight to “survive extinction” — describing the state’s motion as an attempt to terminate the case before her constitutional claims can ever be heard.

In a powerful public statement, President Donald J. Trump has called for the immediate release of Tina Peters, condemning her imprisonment as a form of political persecution and cruel, unconstitutional punishment. Trump described Peters as an innocent American patriot and a Gold Star mother, unjustly jailed by the Radical Left to cover up Democrat election crimes.

If the court allows the case to continue, the next hearing will focus on arguments for Peters’ release pending appeal. Ticktin is also expected to formally request the court to expedite that next phase, emphasizing that Tina has already spent far too long behind bars for what her legal team describes as a politically motivated prosecution.
