White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded on Monday to the continued calls for violence against federal law enforcement in the wake of an active shooter situation at an ICE facility in McAllen, Texas, on Monday morning.
Leavitt was asked about this situation and Democrat Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (WA), saying recently that she is “inspired” by this terrorism from her constituents and calls for Democrat officials to be more confrontational with federal agents.
What nobody asked was why these Democratic lawmakers and many of their supporters, who are calling for more violence against ICE, are still walking free.
Biden’s DOJ and FBI went after thousands of Trump supporters for protesting the stolen election, pro-lifers for praying outside of abortion clinics, and even President Trump for made-up crimes.
Why are Republicans so gutless, and why is the Trump Administration being so soft on criminal Democrats?
Leavitt called on Democrats “to tone down their rhetoric against ICE and Border Patrol agents” and condemned the violence, but her words will surely fall on the radical leftists’ deaf ears.

Leavitt: We certainly call on Democrats to tone down their rhetoric against ICE and Border Patrol agents, who, again, are everyday men and women. I would encourage AOC and other Democrats to actually meet with the United States Border Patrol. These are honorable Americans, who are just simply trying to do their job to enforce the law. They go home to their families every night, just like we all do, and they deserve respect and dignity for trying to enforce our nation’s immigration laws and to remove public safety threats from our communities. The White House is aware of the shooting that took place today in Texas, and we are working with the appropriate federal agencies to get to the bottom of what happened.
Leavitt was later asked about Democrat constituents calling for their representatives to act on their words and “shed blood” for the cause.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Los Angeles’s failed Democrat Mayor Karen Bass confronted federal agents and tried to obstruct lawful immigration enforcement on Monday morning.
Mary Margaret Olohan: Axios reported today, I believe, that Democrat lawmakers were saying their constituents are calling on them to be more violent when they go to ICE facilities, including, I believe, they want them to shed blood, and that they said that Democrat lawmakers should be willing to get shot themselves. Can you respond to that? And do you have concerns that any of these lawmakers might act on the wishes of their constituents?
It’s hard to believe that anyone with morals in this country or decency would say such a thing. Obviously, the White House condemns that rhetoric, and we condemn violence of any kind. This administration is simply trying to enforce our laws, and we must be a nation of law and order. You cannot simply waltz across our border and live here illegally and expect to stay. We are going to enforce our nation’s laws, and the men and women who are doing that are doing so in a respectful way, they are doing so within the confines of the law, and they are just trying to do their jobs. And we condemn any violence or any calls for violence of any kind against any American.

This follows an incident where a Texas police officer was shot in the neck late Friday night in an attack by an armed group outside the ICE Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, located just south of Dallas-Fort Worth.
This is only going to continue if this administration does not start holding people accountable.
