While he gears up to play tomorrow (29) in the classic and controversial Glastonbury Festival, legendary British rocker Rod Stewart is getting out his political message loud and clear.

While the usual ‘party line’ of the festival is closer to the Irish pro-Palestine rappers of ‘Kneecap’, Stewart was assertive in his views, urging voters to ‘give Nigel Farage a chance’ as he sharply criticized both Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Conservative Party.

The Daily Mail reported:

“The singer, who is well known for hits such as Baby Jane and Maggie May, said he thinks the Reform UK leader is coming across well.

Meanwhile, Sir Rod, 80, was critical of the Prime Minister’s decision to cut off fishing in Scotland and give it back to the EU, saying this move has not made him popular.”

British PM and Labour Leader Keir Starmer gets criticized by both Pro-Palestinian Kneecap and conservative Rod Stewart.

The octogenarian rocker also thinks that the UK has had enough of the Tories, and something new is needed.

“The rock legend told The Times: ‘We’ve got to give Farage a chance. He’s coming across well. Nigel? What options have we got? I know some of his family, I know his brother, and I quite like him’.”

Reform UK’s Nigel Farage got the support of Rod Stewart.

While he is a very wealthy man, Stewart is also a guy who grew up poor, and even worked at a cemetery – so he does not think that he is out of touch with the common folk.

“His comments on the UK’s political landscape come after he previously spoke about a problem with potholes around his £4.6million Essex mansion.

In 2022, he delighted fans as he donned a high-vis jacket to fill in the craters outside his home.”
