White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt destroyed one leftist reporter on Wednesday after the hack suggested that the President only sent the National Guard and Marine troops into California to distract from last week’s incident with Elon Musk.
Last week, the President invoked an outrageous response from Musk after he condemned the billionaire tech mogul’s opposition to the One Big Beautiful Bill, which is still being negotiated in Congress. Musk then went off the rails and began relentlessly attacking Trump, claiming he could not have won the 2024 election without Musk’s support, calling for his impeachment, and claiming that Trump was involved in the Epstein pedophile ring.
Also last week, massive violent riots broke out over ICE enforcement operations in Los Angeles, California, which prompted the President to deploy the National Guard over the weekend and 700 Marines on Monday to stop the leftwing insurrectionists and foreign invaders wreaking havoc on California.
Leavitt revealed earlier that hundreds of illegal aliens were arrested for participating in the riots and throwing Molotov cocktails at law enforcement officers. U.S. troops were necessary to combat this foreign invasion, which is being aided by leftwing rebels.

The two events were completely unrelated. The feud between Musk and Trump had already simmered down by the time the President federalized California National Guard troops to respond to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom’s mishandling of the illegal invaders’ uprising in their state.
“There is criticism that seems to suggest that the President responded the way he did because it was a deliberate, calculated attempt to sort of shift focus away from his feud with Musk,” the reporter said, adding an inaudible comment as Leavitt attempted to respond.
“That’s an incredibly disingenuous attack,” Leavitt said. “The President saw images of border patrol and ICE agents being hailed with rocks and Molotov cocktails. He saw vehicles being burned to the ground with illegal aliens flying foreign flags, and that’s what prompted the President to have this response.”
“We haven’t seen action. California has been a mess for years because of the incompetence of Gavin Newsom. So, the President was responding to that only,” Leavitt continued.
Leavitt was incredulous at the insinuation that the President sent National Guard troops to California solely to distract from Elon Musk’s fit.

And I would add the governor and the mayor need to actually do more. I know Gavin Newsom had a big address to the nation last night. I guess he thought that’s what it was for maybe his future political ambitions, but he spoke a lot of words. We haven’t seen action. California has been a mess for years because of the incompetence of Gavin Newsom. So, the President was responding to that only.
