Charts around the world may soon feature Sabrina Carpenter’s latest single, “Manchild,” which was released late in the day on Thursday (June 5). The recently-crowned Grammy winner is aiming to capitalize on the massive success of her breakout project Short N’ Sweet and its many hits, and hoping to extend her winning streak.

Ahead of what may be a lofty debut for “Manchild,” several of Carpenter’s most popular tunes have returned to the same tally in the United Kingdom, thanks to an uptick in purchases.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Pair of Vinyl Smashes

Carpenter fills two spaces on the Official Vinyl Singles chart this week. Both of her current wins didn’t appear on the list just days ago, yet they’ve managed to break back in together, becoming bestselling cuts and top 40 successes once again.

“Please Please Please” is the higher-rising of the two, as it reenters at No. 29. “Nonsense,” which was featured on a previous album, and not Short N’ Sweet, narrowly finds space inside the top 40 as it lands at No. 39.

“Please Please Please” is the newer of the two successes on the Official Vinyl Singles chart, but it has also spent more time on this list — 32 weeks compared to the 12 that “Nonsense” has managed so far.

Sabrina Carpenter’s No. 1 Hits

Both of the singer’s tracks have previously topped the Official Vinyl Singles chart. In fact, they rank as Carpenter’s only champions on that list, as fellow smashes “Espresso,” “Taste,” and “Bed Chem” have all climbed into the top three, but never managed to run the show.

“Please Please Please” and “Nonsense”

Both smashes also find space on several other rankings in the U.K. this frame. “Nonsense” rises from No. 96 to No. 48 on the Official Physical Singles chart. At the same time, “Please Please Please” shoots from No. 62 to No. 38 on the same ranking and pushes three spots to No. 62 on the Official Streaming tally.

Several other tracks by Carpenter are also active on the U.K. charts at the moment. “Espresso” appears on four rosters, “Taste” on just two, and “Bed Chem” can be found only on the Official Streaming list. In most instances, Carpenter’s music is on the rise — and that trend may continue thanks to all the excitement surrounding her brand new release.
