WWE SNME Highlights, Winners And Grades

Seth Rollins And Bron Breakker Def. CM Punk And Sami Zayn; Bronson Reed Returns

SNME began with Joe Tessitore and Jesse Ventura, who is down to zero F’s to give. When asked about his prediction for Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul, Ventura asked “do you think Mike Tyson takes another dive?”

Seth Rollins was wearing his 2022 visionary jacket. As fans chanted for CM Punk, they had to wait for Sami Zayn’s entrance first. Nevertheless, Zayn got a good reaction. Fans returned to chanting for Punk, who got another big pop similar to the pop he received on Raw.

This started as a four-man fistfight with Punk and Zayn standing tall early.

The heels got the upper hand after Breakker hit Zayn with a clothesline from the apron and followed up with a flying clothesline on the table. Fans barked. Rollins and Breakker are a top heel stable, but they get babyface reactions.

Pat McAfee noted Team Rollins doesn’t have a name for its stable yet, to which Michael Cole responded that the faction is still in its “developmental stages.”

Punk blew a fiery comeback that received “this is awesome” chants from a hot crowd.

Paul Heyman grabbed Sami Zayn’s leg as he was going for a Helluva Kick, opening the door for the surprise return of Bronson Reed, who plowed CM Punk through a barricade.

Breakker and Bronson teased a showdown, but Rollins embraced Reed and the two monsters shook hands. Now that Team Rollins has a third member, they can finally come up with a name.

Zelina Vega Def. Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green cut a raspy pre-match promo, and Michael Cole celebrated the fact that Chelsea Green has lost her voice.

Vega’s new theme song sounds too similar to the SmackDown theme “Neva Play.”

Zelina Vega spent the early minutes of the match paying homage to Rey Mysterio, before taking a wicked power bomb from Green on the outside.

There were faint “Chelsea” chants as Green took control of Vega with her heel offense.

Vega hit an extremely ugly looking 619 on Green. Fans booed in what was already a lukewarm match. Vega made up for it with an impressive Code Red from the top rope for the win. Chelsea had a bloody nose for her troubles.

Zelina Vega vs. Chelsea Green Grade: C

John Cena Def. R-Truth

WWE aired a beautiful video package about John Cena’s heel turn, and R-Truth didn’t appear in a single second of it.

After John Cena’s entrance, R-Truth walked out to the exact same theme music, with similar ring gear to Cena’s. Enter “Ron Cena.”

Fans chanted “you can’t wrestle/yes he can!” early into this dominant match. Just as Cena was headed for a squash, R-Truth countered an AA attempt with a Ron Cena comeback of his own. Truth hit Cena with a Five Knuckle Shuffle and an AA for a nearfall. Fans were into it, chanting “let’s go Truth!”

Cena took control and considered a belt shot. R-Truth’s forlorn look made Cena reconsider as he gave the belt back to the referee to huge cheers. As soon as the ref turned his back, however, Cena hit a low-blow on Truth and an AA for the win.

Cena hit another belt shot before walking out. Fans chanted “thank you Cena” in his final appearance in Tampa as WWE played the SNME theme music to drown out the chants.

John Cena vs. R-Truth Grade: B+

Damian Priest Def. Drew McIntyre

Jesse Ventura appeared as a guest on commentary. Drew McIntyre used Damian Priest as a battering ram on the cage early on before the match went to break.

Priest gained the advantage by the time SNME came back from break, hitting a Claymore Kick on Drew and a South of Heaven for a nearfall. McIntyre came back with a great superplex from the top of the cage followed by a kip up to a babyface reaction. McIntyre did the “3…2…1…” countdown before the Claymore Kick. These have to be the final days of Heel McIntyre.

Ventura questioned the pace of referee’s count and asked whether Priest and McIntyre were blown up (not even close). Cole and McAfee did their best to work around him.

McIntyre gave Priest a receipt with a South of Heaven on Priest for a nearfall. The Yuengling Center rallied behind McIntyre, chanting “Oh Drew McIntyre!”

McIntyre went for another Claymore on a steel chair in the corner, similar to how he won their WrestleMania match. Priest moved and answered with another South of Heaven for a nearfall. Priest hit McIntyre with a Con-chair-to. This inspired an Edge reference from Cole. Fans chanted “one more time!” Priest ignored the chants and walked out of the ring to a chorus of boos. Did we just see a double-turn?

Ventura complained about Priest winning a cage match by walking out of the door, similar to how Seth Rollins beat CM Punk in their Steel Cage Match.

Damian Preist vs. Drew McIntyre Grade: B+

Jey Uso Def. Logan Paul And Cody Rhodes Returns

Prior to Jey Uso’s latest title defense, John Cena confronted him. Uce reminded Cena of the last time they were in the ring together: when Jey Uso won the 2025 Royal Rumble.

At the beginning of the show, Logan Paul’s goons appeared to be coaching him on how to defend the “Yeet.” Cena said he was looking forward to the next time he sees Uce. Cena said he’d be watching closely, and suggested Jey Uso losing the strap to a YouTuber would “ruin wrestling.” It’s clear WWE wanted fans to stay tuned in, in the off chance that Cena interferes. Very clever.

There was no pre-match introductions, instead, Lillian Garcia performed the intros during each entrance. Logan Paul dominated early as SNME went to break.

Paul went for a Snapshot Lariat and ate a superkick for his troubles. Paul sent Uso flying into an exposed middle turnbuckle followed by a right hand that missed by a mile. WWE was wise to show the replay from an angle that looked like he connected.

As fans chanted “FU Logan!” John Cena hit the ring and interrupted a three count by pulling the referee out of the ring. Cena pummeled Uso as he made good on his promise to help a YouTuber win the world title.

Enter Cody Rhodes, who stopped Cena’s attack to an enormous pop.

Paul missed wildly with a pair of brass knuckles as Jey Uso hit a Frog Splash for the win.

Rhodes challenged Cena and Paul to a tag team match alongside Jey Uso at Money in the Bank.

Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul Grade: B
