Richard Tice said Labour will lose power to Reform UK because of Brexit Betrayal.

The UK’s ‘reset deal’ with the European Union continues to send Geopolitical waves across Britain and the continent.

Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s Betrayal of Brexit has angered populists and conservatives, and a Reform UK MP told the Premier to his face that his Labour MPs will ‘lose their seats to Reform at the next election’ because of that.

The Telegraph reported:

“The deputy leader of Reform said that in the same way that the Prime Minister had ‘surrendered the fishing industry’ during talks with Brussels, he had also ‘surrendered the jobs’ of many of his MPs.”

Tice torched Starmer after the PM briefed the House of Commons on the terms of the deal.

Starmer said his ‘reset’ would ‘release [the UK] from the tired arguments of the past’, position Britain to ‘seize the opportunities of the future’.

Tice begged to differ: Labour will pay the price for the betrayal at the ballot box.

“He said: ‘In Boston and Skegness my fishermen are furious that the Prime Minister has surrendered the fishing industry and my constituents are furious that you have surrendered on freedom of movement and on rule-taking under the ECJ [European Court of Justice]’.

‘But there is good news. Prime Minister, do you accept that you have also surrendered the jobs of many of your backbench MPs at the next general election to Reform?’”

Starmer said ‘he’d be pleased’ to explain the ‘huge benefits’ and ‘jobs saved and created’ because of the deal.

“’It is really important for our economy that we have these deals. That is in the interests of his constituents. It is in the interests of the whole country’.”

The Government said the pact will deliver a £9 billion annual boost to the economy.

“But critics seized on clauses in the deal which give European fishermen access to the UK’s coastal waters until 2038 and allow Brussels to impose sanctions on British exports if any future government decides to rewrite the agreement.”
