President Trump went off on Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver on Tuesday after meeting with House Republicans in the Capitol.
Trump delivered remarks at the House GOP Conference Meeting over his “Big Beautiful Bill” when a reporter asked him about the federal charges against Rep. McIver.
The President did not hold back.
“That woman was out of control. She was shoving federal agents — she was out of control. The days of that crap are over in this country. We’re going to have law and order,” Trump told reporters.

US Attorney Alina Habba announced federal charges against Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver for assaulting ICE agents.

“Today my office has charged Congresswoman McIver with violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 111(a)(1) for assaulting, impeding and interfering with law enforcement,” Alina Habba said on Monday evening.

ICE bodycam footage showed Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at a detention facility in Newark.

Democrat members of Congress and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka went to ‘inspect’ the Delaney Hall detention facility in New Jersey when a violent altercation broke out amid a breach.
Rep. Monica McIver was seen laying hands on agents during the altercation and chaos.
“I touch whoever I want motherf*cker!” McIver shouted.

Rep. McIver released a statement on Monday evening and the charges against her are “purely political.”
The New Jersey Democrat also blamed ICE agents for the violent altercation at the Delaney Hall facility.
“Earlier this month, I joined my colleagues to inspect the treatment of ICE detainees at Delaney Hall in my district. We were fulfilling our lawful oversight responsibilities, as members of Congress have done many times before, and our visit should have been peaceful and short. Instead, ICE agents created an unnecessary and unsafe confrontation when they chose to arrest Mayor Baraka. The charges against me are purely political — they mischaracterize and distort my actions, and are meant to criminalize and deter legislative oversight. This administration will never stop me from working for the people in our district and standing up for what is right. I am thankful for the outpouring of support I have received and I look forward to the truth being laid out clearly in court,” McIver said.
