Ohio Senator Jon Husted opened offices in Ohio three months after being sworn in and a week after protesters in Cincinnati pushed for town halls to be hosted by senators.
Roughly, 20 protesters gathered on April 18 outside the Queen City Club in downtown Cincinnati during a fundraiser for Husted. The protesters chanted “We demand a town hall,” and “Vote him out.”
Jon Husted, a Republican was sworn into office on Jan. 21. Alongside Senator Bernie Moreno, the senators have been receiving an “unusually high volume” of calls due to the frustration over a lack of town halls.

In the press release, Husted touted the many meetings he’s had with “Ohioans and Ohio job creators” since taking office.
Ohioans can request meetings with Husted via a web form on his senate website.
