One person was injured after a shooting in the area of a McDonalds restaurant in Dayton.

Around 1:23 a.m. crews were dispatched to the 3900 block of Free Pike in Dayton on reports of a shooting.

Dayton Police and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a shooting near the McDonald’s restaurant on Free Pike in Dayton.
The victim was reportedly shot in the abdomen, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Sergeant.
Medics took the victim to an area hospital, the dispatch sergeant confirmed. Details on their current condition were not available at this time.
No suspect information was immediately available.
